1. If there is any important data on the scale then it should be backed up before any update takes place. If there are no such data this step is not required.
To backup the data please connect a FAT32 data format flash pendrive to the terminal’s USB port and follow the steps listed below:
a. Log in as an administrator of the scale;
b. Go to Setup -> Database -> Database configuration -> Export MySQL;
c. Database will be copied to the flash pendrive in form of a Dump.sql file.
2. The scale is now ready to be safely updated. To do that follow the steps:
a. Put an update.pind file on the flash pendrive
b. Connect that flash pendrive to the scale
c. Log in as an administrator of the scale
d. Go to Setup -> Update -> Application;
e. Select the update.pind file and confirm;
f. The scale will now restart and update;
