Steps to perform on HY10 scale:
1. Log in as an administrator of the scale.
2. Go to Setup -> Communication -> Ethernet (or Wireless) and define IP address and other required settings.
3. Go to Setup -> Peripherals -> Computer and set Port field to “TCP”, also, make sure the address field is set to “1”.
4. Go to Setup -> Peripherals -> E2R System and set System active field to Yes.
Steps to perform in E2R software:
1. Log in as an E2R administrator.
2. Run Scale Viewer using button in the top right portion of the main E2R window.
3. If there are no scales or balances yet defined in E2R Scale Manager, a device detection window will be automatically started. When detection is finished mark scales you want added and confirm your selection. Please note: when scale is added to E2R its database is overwritten by database of E2R, this might result in a loss of data. Make sure the scale contains no unique information in the database.
It should be noted that an option to import scale’s database to E2R (during adding the scale to the system) is currently unavailable and only support certain models of previous generation.
3a. If you want to access a window allowing you to add more scales when it is no longer started automatically you can do that by clicking Scale configuration -> Scales -> Browse scales.
